Maison Margiela

Maison Margiela is a Parisian Haute Couture house founded on the principles of non-conformity and subversion of norms. Founded in Paris in 1988 by Martin Margiela, the house inverts and redefines traditional dress codes, presenting an analytical wardrobe for the digital age. Its signature codes include the blank white label secured with four stitches, numerical coding and brush-stroked white paint. The house has held the Haute Couture appellation since 2012 and is under the creative direction of Glenn Martens.
